The Belgian Armed Forces’ first year of exercises with SWORD
In a relatively short time-frame, the Land Component of the Belgian Armed Forces has fully customized its constructive simulation MASA SWORD with its own units, doctrine, equipment, terrains and terminology.

23 Septembre 2019, Angers, France – Le premier Forum International SOULT s’est déroulé du 10 au 12 septembre à l’Ecole du Génie d’Angers. Ce forum a été organisé sous l’impulsion du COME2CIA, du Groupement Simulation Appui NEB de la STAT (Ex-CEISIM) et de MASA.
September, 16th 2019, Paris, France – Business continues to grow for training and simulation specialists, MASA Group. Extensions to existing contracts have been confirmed and new contract with the Spanish army has recently been signed, while the company is also developing in related markets. The company has welcomed three new team members since the beginning of the year.
The Bangladesh Army is deeply involved with civil emergencies and disaster relief programs. Using MASA’s SWORD software and expertise, the Army was able to lead a week-long earthquake relief simulation, involving 24 organizations.
In 2015, MASA signed its first contract with the Army Training and Doctrine Command (ARTDOC) of the Bangladesh Army to provide them with a complete and customizable training solution. Three years later, after successful delivery of the initial contract, ARTDOC has signed a new contract with MASA for the company to provide the Army with five years’ worth of training opportunities.
